Prepare to fall in love at first bite with these pretty desserts. Weddings are already bathed with romance; you’re celebrating a marriage, after all! However, some couples want to go the extra mile to plan a wedding that not only feels romantic, but is styled romantically too, so we’ve gather a collection of romantic wedding cakes you’ll love too! Think classic details in a soft palette with a touch of whimsy. Now this has us thinking elegant and dreamy.
What to know: No matter the icing you choose, the white color almost never varies, so don’t try to match the shade to your off-white gown. A no-fail pick is pearlized white which emits a slight luster.
Money-saving tip: Opt for buttercream icing instead of fondant―it’s cheaper. And commission a simple cake, as intricate designs will set you back financially.

If we could do it all again, I would choose them all in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for making me and my husband feel so special on our wedding day! -Brianna Munsen 10-27-18
Hayden was our DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing!!!! We had a smaller crowd and most people left earlier but Hayden kept the party going with awesome music!!! He was so polite and flexible even with the moving around of events. He checked in with us through out the night to make sure we got everything done that we wanted and had enough time for the photographer to get key moments. So great! I would 100% recommend him to anyone!!! Best DJ hands down 🙂-Rachel Solis 10-27-18

Attracted to clean lines, minimalist aesthetic, and of course, top-of-the-line craftsmanship, these wedding dresses showcase that no matter your style, you can go simple.
Princess gowns don’t always have to sparkle and shine! A full skirt that’s light or heavy on layers and makes a unique statement with a beautiful lace detail is graceful and grand.
Vintage- inspired with the allure of glamorous style of bridal fashion. Focus on showcasing that structured shape and fabric, which is the true heart of glamour.
This traditional sleeve never gets old. While the lace details is a soft touch, its texture and details can bring a sophisticated sort to the front and center of the dress’ design.
Bold necklines and daring angles will define for the true, avant-garde bride. Choose a dress that will turn heads- the ultimate statement for this bride.
This contemporary route might lead you to be all about texture. Uniquely shaped and high to low hemlines might bring a new and fresh take on the big day’s dress.
As a huge trend in the market, these simple, albeit individualistic dresses should still shine in a way that lets them do it all on their own. Say hello to flowy and unrestricted.

No need to scour internet forums or frantically search YouTube videos for ideas. At Complete Weddings + Events, Your premier Sioux Falls DJ we’ve witnessed thousands of entrances through the years (some awesome, and some not so awesome). From choreographed dance moves to props, we’ve seen it all. So, we put together the perfect “How To” guide just for you to make sure you walk into your reception like a boss.
YES! You made it through the wedding ceremony! Now, it’s time for your first announcement as a married couple. Walking into your reception is kind of a big deal, and you don’t want to wait until the day of to figure out how you’re going to make your grand entrance! These days, moments like this are captured not only for your official wedding video, but also on a few dozen smartphone cameras, and possibly shared across multiple social media platforms, but no pressure!
Don’t be afraid to be goofy. If it’s not a little awkward you’re not doing it right. You have to fully commit, and remember that everyone is there to celebrate YOU! When the guests see you having fun, it automatically sets the tone for the rest of the reception. Comedy is your friend!
Get the whole bridal party on board. The bride and groom are the main attractions, but it’s even better when the whole group gets in on the fun to build up the momentum for the new married couple’s big announcement! Encourage them to get creative, and props are always a fun addition. Sunglasses, hats, or switching outfits (pending both parties are on board) can elevate an entrance from bland to grand. Props help take some of the pressure off because there’s something else for people to focus on, and they help spur creativity!
If dancing isn’t your thing, you can use dramatic lighting to take your moment to the next level. Complete’s lighting experts will help make your entrance all about you. From Old Hollywood with dim lighting and a spotlight, or neon flashing lights for the rockstars out there.
Now, let’s look at some epic entrances (and fails) to get inspired for what TO DO and NOT TO DO. If being outrageous isn’t your style, here are some entrances even your grandma can get behind.
Let’s take a look at the the video that inspired people to start getting more creative with their entrances: The JK Wedding Dance Entrance. Granted this is a wedding entrance, not a reception, but with over 97 million YouTube views it’s deserving of a mention! If you have been been living under a rock and haven’t seen this yet, you’re in for a treat! It has it all – the whole bridal party, props, music, authenticity and most of all FUN! Enjoy!
Who doesn’t love a good riding lawn mower entrance. Now that’s authentic!
DO have a wedding party dance party once the bride & groom make their entrance!
DO learn choreographed bridal party dance moves / dance offs!
DON’T knock the bridesmaid over!
We hope you are inspired to create your own unique moments! Once you have your ideas ready, you can work with your DJ to play the perfect soundtrack as you and your bridal party walk in. Our DJs have all of the best playlists to make your entrance one for the books! The best part is, you get to decide because after all, it’s all about you! Happy wedding planning.
