Ultimately, it’s understanding my clients’ music tastes. In our planning session, which is my favorite part of getting to know clients, we can really see what you are into and dial in your music to fit each segment and work the crowd in the dance party.
It’s about studying the music. I may not understand all the lyrics, but I can focus on how it sounds and where its placement should be throughout the night.
My favorite genres are throwbacks such as 2000s, hip hop, and alternative band music. I also specialize in multi-genre house. I am well versed in all genres, so whatever you want as a client, I can bring it for you!
My favorite part of DJing is being in charge of everything and seeing that everyone has a good time. I love being on the microphone, hyping up my clients, as well as making sure the timeline runs smoothly and that we end with a great dance party.
