When Caroline and Marko first met, they had no idea that it would one day lead to them walking down the aisle. Seven and a half years after a chance encounter, Caroline + Marko were set to wed at the Ethereal Gardens in San Diego, CA. A perfect way to begin their new chapter as husband and wife. Their fairytale wedding was one for the storybooks!
Personal Vows
On the morning of Caroline + Marko’s wedding, they spent time getting ready apart from one another. The couple wanted to save seeing each other, for a later intimate moment. With Caroline in her dress and Marko in his suit and tie, they were ready.
They met outside in the Ethereal Gardens. Marko had been waiting for his bride on a stone path with his back turned. Caroline made her way up the path, tapped his shoulder, and there she was! Marko gasped at the stunning bride before him. She wore a modern and sleek strapless dress. It was fitted to her in its trumpet style, along with the buttons that went down her back.
Marko wore a navy blue suit with a twist. He paired the suit with a pink floral printed tie. The pink tie gave a nice pop and contrasting color to the full outfit. The two embraced each other and proceeded to express their love to each other through personally written vows.
The Ceremony
On another part of the Ethereal Gardens grounds, the guests began to arrive. Guests wore vibrant colors to match the joyful feeling of the day. With the sun shining, and the sky painted in scattered clouds and blue skies, the ceremony was ready to begin.
Two by two, the wedding party made its way down the aisle. The bridesmaids wore satin champagne dresses, creating luxurious textures. The groomsmen wore classic black suits, but again with the twist of a floral print tie.
Finally, it was time for Caroline to make her way down the aisle. Every head turned to see the stunning bride. She glided down the aisle, with her eyes taking in every moment. She met Marko at the altar. Vows were exchanged, and promises were made. Finally, Caroline and Marko were husband and wife!
Fairytale Wedding Decor
The only thing left to do that night was to celebrate the newlyweds! Everyone made their way over to the wedding reception area. It was filled with a stunning take on a fairytale wedding. The woodsy aesthetics of the chairs, to the twinkling lights and candles scattered around, all topped off with gorgeous floral displays.
And They Danced All Night…
Caroline + Marko made their final grand entrance of the night! They were welcomed into the space with cheers as they made their way to their sweetheart table. The rest of the night included toasts, bouquet tosses, and of course some dancing! Congratulations to the new Mr. + Mrs.!
