What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve photographed?

I’m always so moved by the love given to the couple from their friends and family. It’s a privilege to get to witness the joy, pride, hope, and support that the people who have participated in these individuals’ lives pour into them as a new couple starting their journey together.

What is your favorite thing about being a photographer?

My favorite thing about being a photographer is that I get to collect every possible moment from such a tremendous day for couples to be able to relive and enjoy for the rest of their lives.

What makes you stand out?

I consider my photographic style to be timeless, vibrant, and true to each moment that has been captured.

What is your favorite part of the event?

It’s always so profound when the couple gets to see each other for the first time, whether it’s a first look before hand or that moment when the bride comes walking down the aisle. All the work and anticipation that has gone into such a momentous day comes down to that moment, when the couple gets to be together for the first time on their first day of the rest of their lives.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

My husband and I love the outdoors and for our honeymoon we went backpacking through several national parks. Along with our tent and supplies we carried our wedding clothes with us and of course my camera. Those are my favorite photos of us; me in my wedding dress and him in his suit out in the California Redwoods, down in the Canyon lands of Utah, and on the sandy shore of the Virgin Islands.
