One of our favorite trends over the last few years has been couples choosing to support local restaurants instead of traditional wedding caterers.<\/p>\n

Maybe it’s the taco shop you visit every Friday night, like The Beach House<\/a> in Central Phoenix.<\/p>\n

The Italian restaurant where you had your first date, such as L’Amore Italian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The family-owned barbecue restaurant that reminds you of home, like Eric’s Family Barbecue<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We absolutely love the idea.<\/p>\n

But here’s something many couples don’t realize:<\/p>\n

Making incredible food and catering a wedding are two very different things.<\/p>\n

Restaurants specialize in food.<\/p>\n

Wedding caterers specialize in logistics.<\/p>\n
