I’m DeShawna, and I believe your wedding photographs should feel as real and alive as the day itself. With over 300 weddings behind my lens, I’ve had the honor of documenting love stories across cultures, traditions, and backgrounds. Each one has taught me that no two celebrations are ever alike – your love deserves to be seen for what makes it uniquely yours.

My approach is simple: I photograph love the way it feels, not just how it looks. I’m drawn to the quiet promises whispered before the aisle, the way hands find each other during vows, the laughter that bubbles up when nerves finally melt away. I’ve been told I have a gift for making people feel comfortable, cared for, and truly seen – and that’s the highest compliment I could ever hope to receive.

For the past 7 years, I’ve had the joy of photographing with Disney Fairytale Weddings, which has given me a front-row seat to some of the most magical “I do’s.” But beyond the castles and gowns, it’s the authentic connections that inspire me – the teary-eyed vows, the cultural traditions honored, the moments that become lifelong memories.
