Wedding Venue Search Tips
Before you begin your wedding venue search, narrow down what type of wedding venue you’re looking for. For example, if you love wedding barns, then narrow your search down to a barn-style venue. This will cut the time of your search down significantly. The wedding venue hunt can be difficult to process. Therefore, it’s always a great idea to make the process as easy as possible for yourself! Here is a list of different venues based on their styles:
Historic/Vintage Venues
There are many historic, vintage-styled venues around Orlando that will give you a very classic and timeless style. There are a few different types of historic venues around the Orlando area as well so you still have plenty of vintage styles to choose from. The Highland Manor and Luxmore Grande Estate are beautiful historic mansions. These wedding venues also have plenty of land around to take gorgeous photos. The venues themselves are nice enough to make great backdrops! Meanwhile, Venue 1902 in Sanford showcases an old schoolhouse built in the year 1902 of course! Much of the structure has been renovated. This makes it feel updated while also keeping every bit of charm the old school building has to offer. All these venues offer unique styles for your wedding and are going to allow for timeless photos.
Tropical Venues
You may not think of Orlando as having many tropical-style venues because it is about an hour away from the nearest beach. However, there are a few wedding venues in the Orlando area that can give you a very tropical feel. Margaritaville Resort is the perfect wedding venue for anyone who’s coming in from out of town to celebrate their big day with friends and family. The venue allows you to give your friends and family a short getaway. As the bride and groom, you will basically get a honeymoon and wedding all in one! It’s a perfect venue for anyone coming from out of town, or even if you’re in town and want a vacation feel for your wedding!
Paradise Cove on the other hand, actually allows you to feel like your celebrating your big day on a private beach. This wedding venue is located right on a lake with plenty of sand and palm trees around. Therefore, it feels like you stepped into an undiscovered vacation spot. The venue even allows you to show up to your reception in style on a boat!
Golf and Country Club Venues
Obviously, in one of the largest golf cities in the country, we’re going to have a LARGE assortment of golf and country club venues to choose from. However, not every golf and country club has an equally great venue space and staff. Venues like Timacuan, Tuscawilla, and Falcon’s Fire are going to provide great ceremony and reception space while offering a professional staff that is going to help you during the entire wedding planning process!
