Summer + Rob had a unique, romantic summer wedding at the beautiful Venue 1902! While it was hot outside, they utilized the classic, historical elements of the venue’s indoor space to their advantage. We could not think of a more perfect venue for this couple’s wedding! The Fashion
We can’t help but start with the fashion of this wedding for obvious reasons: Summer’s dress! It’s unconventional to say the least to wear a black wedding dress. However, we absolutely cannot get enough of it! It’s classic in it’s own way, and doesn’t take away from the “wedding feeling” at all! Summer looked gorgeous with her long, feathery train, and lacy top. Her hair was in an eccentric, detailed updo that brought her look together absolutely perfectly. Going along with her “not-so-traditional” style, she opted of of the formal bouquet. Instead, she carried pastel flowers with greenery on a ring.
Rob wore a dark suit as well, that matched everything about the wedding day. It was a deep maroon, with a black shirt and tie to match Summer’s dress. Summer and Rob’s portraits really capture the essence of the wedding day style. You can see their love for each other, and the romantic feel continues throughout the photo gallery. The Details
The detail photos in Summer and Rob’s wedding gallery really tied a bow on top of the whole thing! The historic elements of their venue such as the old-time piano and desk, went right along with their own personal style. We love the sage sprinkled throughout the bouquets, center pieces, and other decorations. It adds a little pop of color amidst the dark pallet chosen to create a bit of balance to their Orlando wedding. In the same way, the pastel and white flowers balance out the dark colors as well.
The seating area with dark, velvet covers created a great social space for their more intimate wedding ceremony and reception. The table settings were so perfect and unique as well! We love the mix of long and circular tables with the gray table cloths and black napkins.
The Party
Summer and Rob had so much fun partying the night away with their Orlando Wedding DJ! Tom had so much fun curating a playlist to fir their needs, and also making sure to be there to keep the wedding schedule on track. Check out a little snippet we captured of him on the dance floor with everyone! Not to mention the up lighting added to the reception space! It adds just a little extra touch, and really brings the space together. They opted for a classic, white light to fit their wedding theme.
The first dance, bouquet toss, and garter toss were a few great moments to capture and be a part of. They were such a classy couple! However, we absolutely loved how they had their own “pushup contest” in the middle of the dance floor! Their fun personalities really came out, and we were so glad they were able to let go and have a good time! They played the “shoe game” which was a fun way for everyone to get to know them a little bit better. To finish off their perfect day, they danced the night away with all the people they love most!
