Their Beach Engagement Shoot Story
Samantha and Brandon chose to have their beach engagement shoot just a short drive from New Smyrna at Flagler Pier. While this was their engagement shoot, they had their actual engagement at a restaurant on this very same beach! It was sentimental for them to remember and experience the love they felt that day while taking photos, and we must say; their love truly shines in this gallery! I’m sure the cutest, vintage, green car has caught your eye. Well, Brandon was restoring this very car when Samantha and Brandon first started dating! They met online, and he was sending her pictures of it as a work in progress when they first started talking. She was so upset when he sold it, she admitted she cried! However, the friend he sold it to let them borrow it for their engagement shoot and we are not sad about it! How CUTE are they?!
The Fashion
These two looked ADORABLE in both the outfits they wore during their beach engagement shoot near New Smyrna, FL. To start, Samantha’s yellow, floral dress looks perfect with her strawberry-colored hair and her skin-tone; not every can pull off yellow, but she pulls it off seamlessly. Her white sandals pull the look together perfectly, and her turquoise earrings give her outfit a splash of color without being too much. Not to mention, the photos with her jean jacket added are timeless. Brandon wore nice jeans with brown loafers, and a blue button-up to compliment his sweet ladies’ look.
Their beach outfits were also perfect for the Florida sun and heat! Samantha’s short-sleeved, white beach dress was simple, but the ruffles added that little extra something, along with her nude-colored earrings. Brandon wore white as well, a button-up with little turtles on it! He wore khaki shorts to go with it. The New Smyrna couple went bare-foot, as all beach photos should be taken! They took the classic “beach fashion” to heart when planning their outfit, and we are NOT complaining about it!
The Setting
The couple used two spots at their location, and we think they are both amazing! The first was a spot to park that gorgeous car under the palm trees. Not only was this a good way to get out of the Florida sun, it was an opportunity to use the gorgeous Florida nature that we all know and love. The green palm trees and hanging moss gave our photographer, Daniella, a chance to use her creative side.
The second spot they used was, of course, right on the beach! We will never get tired of seeing a sweet couple in love with the waves crashing all around them. They also used the pier for a few of their photos as well. It was a way to play with the lighting and add something to the background of the photos. Not to mention, they also got a few sweet pictures on a tall lifeguard chair as well!

Brandon and Samantha are getting married at the Brannon Center in New Smyrna, FL on 4.23.2022.
