The Garden Villa in Winter Park is a gorgeous wedding venue, especially in early October on a perfect day! We were able to capture plenty of outdoor shots of the bride and groom, putting plenty of greenery behind Nina and Ronnie as a natural backdrop. Nina and Ronnie’s Wedding Gallery
Getting Ready and Detail Photos
One of our photographer’s favorite points on the wedding day is taking shots of the getting ready portion and capturing details before the bride begins to walk down the aisle. These getting-ready photos show a lot of joy from both the bride and the groom. The simple black and white edits are classic and add so much character to the bride and groom’s getting ready shots. The shot of Nina’s mom helping her get ready is a sweet moment that shows off a ton of happiness. Meanwhile, Ronnie’s couple of photos getting ready is amazing because you can tell how elated he is to be getting prepared to see his bride walk towards him down the aisle.
First Look
Ronnie and Nina get to finally see each other in the first few photos in this portion of the gallery. All of that elation and preparing to see each other all morning pays off in these shots and we get the payoff in these three photos. They look absolutely amazing together with the bright green, natural backdrop of all the trees and foliage that The Garden Villa showcases.
Ceremony
The ceremony photos are few but beautiful. All three that are showcased in this gallery happen to be in black and white, but it somehow doesn’t feel overdone. Instead, they feel incredibly timeless (this is a major part due to their amazing style choices) and we love it! The photos are so simple and elegant and quite honestly, we feel a ton of emotion looking at all three. The buildup as Ronnie watches his bride walk toward him and the simple payoff of seeing Nina slip a ring onto his finger is amazing. We love these three shots!!
The Reception and Rest of the Gallery
As we move past the ceremony, we get to see some photos of the wedding reception. The first dance photo, one of Ronnie on the dance floor, and perhaps our favorite shot of the gallery, Nina getting down on the dance floor! The first dance photo is so special as they look at each other just smiling ear to ear. You can tell in their first dance shot just how in love they are with each other and it’s beyond cute! The shots of both on the dance floor make us smile as well! They’re both having an amazing time and you can just feel a ton of happiness coming out as they look to be having a blast with their friends and family on this extremely special day.
Wedding Day Style
This particular wedding shows off some amazing style choices from both the bride and the groom. Ronnie wears a classic tuxedo with a bow tie that is fitted and formed in a modern fashion but has all the trappings of a classic look that will show amazing style in their photos for years to come. His white boutonniere to match Nina’s white dress is a great touch that makes the photos pop even more along with the white handkerchief tucked neatly into his front pocket, everything about his style on the wedding day is a perfect blend of vintage and modern to create a classic and timeless look.
As great as Ronnie looked, Nina may have brought even more style to the big day!! We LOVE the off-the-shoulder wedding dress with lacey designs streaking down towards the train that flows so beautifully. It’s easy in today’s day and age to get caught up in overly complicated styles and do too much yet you want to bring your own style to the wedding which is an extremely difficult line to be able to tow. However, Nina pulls this feat off beautifully! Her veil, train, lacey pattern, earrings, and every piece of the dress and style pull together so well to create a look that will always be gorgeous!
We had so much fun capturing and being a part of Nina and Ronnie’s wedding day at the Garden Villa and want to wish them the absolute best in their new lives together. Congratulations once again Nina and Ronnie!!
