Angela + Michael had the most elegant church wedding and reception at Holy Trinity here in Orlando, FL! We still cannot get over the gracefulness of the colors, the couple, and their video! Keep reading to see the full gallery, and why we are so obsessed with this wedding!
Couple Photos
Maybe our favorite part of Angela and Michael’s entire gallery is their portraits. First of all, they are such a gorgeous couple! In addition, our Orlando wedding photographer, Daniella, captured them gorgeously. The scenery that Holy Trinity in Orlando, FL is able to provide made for the perfect backdrop for their photos. The stone has such a pretty, classic look that will provide timeless wedding photos for them to share with their family and future kids for generations to come. Not to mention, they will look AMAZING printed on a canvas and in an album.
We also love when couples choose to add a black and white portion to their gallery as well. It adds just a little special something to the wedding day photos that wouldn’t otherwise be there. Already classic wedding photos are made to look even more so.
The Fashion
Everyone at Angela and Michaels Orlando wedding party looked amazing. Angela’s dress had lace throughout with a deep v-cut, buttons down the back, and a beautifully long train that trailed behind. She wore soft curls and very natural makeup to pull the look together. Her nails were a light pink, and looked just absolutely stunning with her dress! Michael kept it classic with a black suit and tie, but with his own small flair: Mickey Mouse-shaped cuff links to add some personalization to his look.
Angela’s side of the wedding party wore mauve-colored dresses. Each dress had a little bit of a different design and cut. We LOVE it when bridesmaids wear mismatch-styled dresses. It means that each of them is able to choose a cut and style that looks good for their body-type, and is able to feel comfortable in their dresses.
Michael had both guys and girls on his side of the wedding party. The guys wore navy blue suits that matched very well with Michael’s black, and they wore a rose as boutonnières. The girls on Michael’s side of the wedding party also wore navy. Just as on Angela’s side, they wore different styles as well. Their bouquets matched the roses the guys wore to pull the look of the wedding party together. We love the sophisticated mauve and navy color pallet used for this May wedding in Orlando.
The Reception
Let us tell you about their reception. . . it was EPIC! What a fun crowd of family and friends they have! Our Complete Weddings + Events Orlando wedding DJ, Eddie, had such a great time creating a playlist and partying it up with Angela and Michael!
They played a fun game while everyone was finishing up eating; the shoe game. If you haven’t heard of it, the bride and groom sit back to back, and they hold one shoe in each hand- one of the bride’s shoes, and one of the groom’s. The Orlando DJ will ask them questions about each other, and they will hold up the shoe that fits the question better. For example, the question might be, “Who is a better driver?” and each of them will hold up the shoe of the person they think is the better driver. The crowd loves it and is a fun way to get to know the couple.
They also decided to do a group photo. This is an ice breaker where the DJ gets EVERYONE on the dance floor, and the photographer snaps a few fun pics. Then, the DJ will play a fun song and the dancing begins on a crowded dance floor. A great way to capture a core memory, AND get everyone on the dance floor. They danced the night away with their friends and family, and got to party like they were married!
Angela and Michel also decided to add a monogram light to their package! This adds just a little extra something to the reception venue and looks great near the dance floor.
Cinematic Video
We always say photos are essential to any wedding because they capture the moments and memories of the wedding day. However, videography captures the emotions you felt and brings you back to those moments each time you watch it. We can definitely say that some emotions were captured by our Orlando videographer, Noah!
