The Engagement Pictures
Before their big day, Avery + Jalen had their engagement photos taken by Shay from Complete Weddings + Events. Shay also photographed their wedding, giving the couple the perfect chance to get comfortable in front of the camera beforehand. Engagement sessions like this help build trust between couples and their photographer, making the wedding day flow naturally and stress-free.
The Attire
Avery wore an off-the-shoulder, sparkly floral dress that caught the light beautifully. Her bridesmaids wore long black dresses, each in a different style, and carried white rose bouquets. Jalen wore a black suit with a black bowtie and a white rose boutonniere, while his groomsmen wore gray suits with black ties and matching white rose boutonnieres.
The Venue
Located just outside Oklahoma City, The Springs in Edmond offers a ranch-style venue with natural wood interiors and hardwood flooring. The space is surrounded by manicured gardens, peaceful walkways, and natural woodland. Favorite features include the outdoor stone bridge, covered porch, and wooden ceremony pavilion, all perfect for photos and gatherings.
The Reception
After the ceremony, Avery + Jalen celebrated with their guests inside The Springs. Revolve Pizza Kitchen provided dinner, offering a meal everyone enjoyed. DJ Cameron from Complete Weddings + Events kept the energy high throughout the night, filling the dance floor with great music and fun moments. Before heading out, the couple shared a private last dance, soaking in one final moment together. Their evening ended with a sparkler exit surrounded by cheering family and friends, a perfect way to close out their celebration.
