Kindred North Wedding | Mariah & David

Kindred North Wedding Venue

Kindred North a stunning all-white barn located in Centerton, Arkansas. The interior makes for a perfect backdrop to any event with its white walls, white exposed beams, and walls of windows! The warm tone of the brown floors, twinkle lights, and large chandelier decorated with ivy polishes off the space. This venue can truly accommodate any bride’s vision or style with its black slate.

Mariah & David’s Wedding Day

The Kindred North wedding venue was where Mariah & David celebrated their love with those nearest and dearest to them. Mariah walked down the aisle to her best friend inside the gorgeous Kindred North surrounded by all there family and friends.  The two promised their sweet love to each other and ended the ceremony with humbling washing one another’s feet. It was an unforgettable moment and a beautiful experience to watch!

Their color palette was dusty blues, wine, greens, and cream. The table design was the perfect mixture of traditional and fall-rustic.

Mariah & David looked incredibly in love and happy as they danced the night away! We hope these wedding pictures warms your heart as it did ours.

Kenzy & Taylor’s Wedding | Crescent Hotel | Eureka Springs Arkansas

Kenzy & Taylor’s Wedding Day

Kenzy & Taylor’s wedding this past September was held at the historic Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs Arkansas. There wedding was full of fun and mimicked their personalities perfectly!

The couples took their portraits around the hotel lawn and across the street at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Their pictures featured lush greenery and vibrant flowers as well as the historic buildings to tie into their garden wedding reception and venue.

My favorite moment of the whole day was the moment Taylor saw Kenzy for the first time! As Kenzy walked down the aisle to her best friend Taylor was overcome with emotion. It was truly a moving a special moment to be able to capture!

The wedding reception was kicked an upbeat introduction by Sam, a Complete Weddings + Events DJ, and cheers by all! Their wedding video captures the fun, upbeat and funny moments of the reception perfectly!

Thank you so much for choosing Complete Weddings + Events to capture your wedding through photography and videography as well as hiring us as your DJ so we could create the reception of your dreams!

Eric & Ginger’s Love Story

When I first chatted with Ginger’s mother over the phone about her daughter’s Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding  I immediately got excited! What Disney lover wouldn’t with such a romantic and fun theme. Ginger and Eric’s wedding would be held at Chateau on the Lake, located just over the Arkansas border in Branson, Mo. The venue was the perfect backdrop with the castle-like architecture, alabaster chandeliers, lake views, and exquisite landscaping.

A Tale as Old as Time: Eric & Ginger’s Love Story

Eric and I met in the summer of 2012. My brother and Eric’s cousin got married, and we met at their engagement party. Many people thought the two of us would be a good couple, but we were both too shy to do anything more than say hi when we ran into each other. In March of 2018, Ginger’s brother and sister in law and Eric’s brother and sister in law planned a pizza night at Eric’s brother’s house, so we could get to know each other. We hit it off, and the rest is history.  In October of 2018, we went on a family vacation with Ginger’s family to Branson, Missouri.  We had dinner at Top of the Rock one night, and Eric proposed to Ginger, at sunset, in the church on the property.  A little over a year later, we hosted our wedding at Chateau on the Lake!

Benefits of Live Streaming Your NWA Wedding

Why live streaming your NWA wedding? When it comes to weddings, couples may be looking at ways for international relatives to still feel connected during the ceremony, or the wedding budget requires cutting back the guest list count. When you still want everyone to be able to tune in, even if it’s just virtually, live streaming your wedding is the best option. Let’s dive right into the benefits of live streaming your NWA wedding ceremony.

Endless Rewatching

The most fun reason to live stream is so you can rewatch the ceremony all over again – and so can family and friends! It’s hard to comprehend how special it is to watch this exciting, important, whirlwind moment in your life! It may be a blur when it happens, but it’s an awesome experience to be able to listen to the vows again and relive the emotions of the momentous ceremony.

Larger Reach

With live streaming, you have endless invites to the viewing party! While you may leave some extended family or long-lost high school friends out of the invite to your actual wedding, you don’t have to leave anyone out on the live stream invite!

Keep Guest Count (and Prices!) Down

You won’t have to feel bad about leaving your mother’s coworkers, your Pilates instructor, or any guests you’re on the fence about out of the invite, since you’re still able to invite them to tune into the day! With another option to view your wedding, you can keep your guest count down which keeps the cost of catering and rentals down as well. By just inviting roughly three fewer tables of people (around 24 fewer guests), you can save over $1000 in appetizer, dinner, beverage, table decor, and linen rental costs.

No Additional Duties

Your friends and your family can simply enjoy the ceremony, whether they’re in person or watching from afar, while Complete Weddings + Events handles the live stream. Having no additional tasks for you and your guests makes choosing to do a live stream that much easier!

Affordable Video Option

In modern times, video is everywhere, because it’s truly the best method we have to capture it all! We hear the most common regret couples have after a wedding was not hiring a videographer, and we definitely understand a professional videographer does not fit in everyone’s budget. But live streaming is a happy medium for those who are budget-conscious, but still want this special time captured.

Live streaming is the perfect affordable video option, especially if you simply cannot afford a wedding videographer. You may already find extra room in the budget when limiting your total guest count, and this affordable option is a great way for those you didn’t make the final cut to still be involved in your big day!

An Option For All To Be Connected

The clear decision to choose live streaming is to be able to give the opportunity for so many dear friends and family to still be connected and engaged on your wedding day. It’s still awesome to be able to watch the ceremony after the fact, but it’s quite exciting and unifying to be watching it live, as it happens! Offering a live stream of your wedding ceremony helps for all to feel as though they are not missing out on this special day.

Northwest Arkansas Wedding DJ Expectations

Planning a wedding is a blast, isn’t it?! Your wedding reception is the biggest celebration and party you will ever plan! It is the beginning of your marriage and life together, but there are so many details to iron out and so many options. It can be maddening. Take a deep breath, grab a beer or a glass of wine, everything is going to be just fine. We are here to help by lining out some questions and expectations you should have from your Northwest Arkansas DJ.

Northwest Arkansas Wedding DJs Expectations

I bet you have been to your fair share of weddings and chances are that you have been in a bridal party or two. In all those wedding experiences, one of the people that has the greatest impact on its success, which causes the bride & groom and the guests to reminisce about how much fun was had is the DJ.

Your wedding DJ is a key contributor to the success of the wedding reception. That being said, here are a few of the finer details that you and your wedding DJ should be discussing with you during your wedding planning and the expectations you should have to ensure you have the wedding celebration of your dreams:

More and more couples are choosing Northwest Arkansas as the location of their wedding and there is limited availability to quality DJs. Check with your venue, friends, and family for recommendations. Complete Weddings + Events has a large team of professional DJs that are excited to provide extraordinary wedding DJ services for you on your big day. A small deposit at Complete locks in your date and allows you to check an item off your list.

Do not wait until the last minute to decide on music, especially those signature songs for your first dance, father/daughter dance, etc.  You will not regret planning early and ironing out the details with your wedding DJ once the event is closer.  Complete Weddings + Events Northwest Arkansas offers its customers a thorough online event manager that is super helpful in communicating those details since your Complete DJ has access to all that info.

While these are a valued tradition and an anticipated part of the celebration, they can easily run long. To keep things moving, let the first dance run two to three minutes and the other spotlight dances top off at two minutes. The exception is related to specially choreographed dances that are done with the intention to entertain the crowd. This approach will reduce the time dedicated to spotlighting dances from 15 minutes to approximately six minutes.

This will make sure you are able to enjoy those spotlight dances and allow enough time for your guests to have a great time. FYI – Most receptions are in the 4-5 hour time frame.

Your wedding DJ should have experience being an MC and talking on the microphone as they have a direct impact on your event timeline. The DJ is responsible for making announcements for the traditions such as the special dances, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, and much more. They can also incorporate or teach fun line dances or interactive games.

This is super helpful in making sure everyone is on the same page and helps with the flow of the end of the night. Also, check with the venue what time everyone has to be out.

Sometimes it’s about the little things like not having to worry about the details of what is coming next and if everyone knows. The best DJs in Northwest Arkansas don’t just make an announcement about the toasts happening in 5 minutes. They check in with you to make sure that you and your bridal party are ready.  They would also touch base with vendors like the bartender so they can be prepared if there is a champagne toast and photographer/videographer that way they are set up to capture those memories. At the end of the day, you and your family should just have to sit back and relax instead of facilitating what is supposed to happen next!

Yes, stalk your DJ on Google, Wedding Wire, the Knot, Facebook or Instagram. Of course, when you chat with a DJ company they have great things to say about themselves. Check out what other people are saying about them, their style, and how they might be able to make your event everything you have ever dreamed of!

Micro Wedding Ideas NWA – How to Plan & Where to Start

Considering having a micro wedding in Northwest Arkansas? These smaller events are not only a cost-saving alternative to a traditional wedding with 150+ guests, but they’re an intimate affair that can be as unique as you and your partner. Since they are on a smaller scale, there are more options for locations, catering, seating, and activities that can’t easily be recreated at a NWA event.

What is a Micro Wedding?

Imagine a normal Springfield wedding celebration, just on a way smaller scale. Micro weddings most still have a ceremony and reception with dinner, decor, cake, and entertainment. The event is typically 40 people or less, with the majority of micro weddings in the range of 15 to 25 guests. A smaller guest list means less seating, centerpieces, linens, food, and the list goes on. According to The Knot’s 2019 Real Weddings Study, the average wedding last year cost over $33,000, when a micro wedding can be achieved under $10,000. Talk about major savings!

But a smaller wedding doesn’t mean a micro wedding can’t be lavish. While the guest list for micro weddings is limited, this doesn’t necessarily mean the couple is throwing a frugal, thrifty wedding. Micro weddings allow a couple to bring their true wedding day vision to life with more budget for anything they can dream up! If you’re looking to splurge on a unique venue, a customized catered meal, or lavish decor, you can still save money in the end when the guest list is limited. Micro weddings give your budget more freedom to splurge on something you simply could not fathom providing for 300 people.

First Steps in Micro Wedding Planning

Similar to planning a standard wedding, the first steps in microwedding planning is to think about your ideal timeframe and solidify a venue. The biggest difference here is that micro weddings allow for many more event location options, inside or outside. From the stage of theatre to a shady spot in your best friend’s backyard, micro weddings don’t have to be confined to a standard wedding venue. Understanding the estimated number of guests and your vision for the day (urban, bohemian, formal, garden, ethereal, modern tropical, rustic, etc.) will help guide you on what type of location to be looking for.

NWA Micro Wedding Services

When throwing a micro wedding, we still suggest hiring a photographer to capture your unique day. Quality photos of you and your spouse are a must! Time and effort were put into every detail of the day, plus your favorite people in the entire world will all be together! You’ll want all this captured to look back on for years to come!

Whether you want a dance off to emerge or an evening of sing-a-long tunes around the fire pit, music helps bring your space to life! Set the atmosphere with music from when guests arrive to the final slow dance of the evening. Hire a DJ to make announcements, provide microphones for any speeches, and to create the soundtrack to the day of your dreams.

With a small guest list, many individuals you enjoy simply won’t be able to make the slim list. Choosing videography for a micro wedding is a great option to be able to share the day with extended family members, coworkers, high school friends, your gym buddy, your mom’s hair stylist, and all those who wish they could have made the tiny invite list.

Take the stress out of hiring multiple vendors by choosing a vendor who can cater multiple services for your day. Complete Weddings + Events offers budget-friendly packages on photography, DJ and videography perfect for a micro wedding! Having a photographer, DJ, and videographer who work well together is something you won’t take for granted!

Lydia & Sam’s Outdoor Summer Wedding

Lydia & Sam were married outside at Common Bond, a hidden gem in Chadwick Missouri, this past June. The couple’s wedding day was relaxed and fun just like there carefree and fun-loving personalities!

Lydia and her bridesmaids got ready in an adorable shabby chic cottage that is onsite. She chose a beautiful half updo and had curls framing her face. Her A-line dress fit her perfectly and had stunning lace sleeves that tied into the dresses embellished detail!

Sam & Lydia had so many thoughtful and fun details incorporated into there wedding day it’s hard to write about them all! Sam and his groomsmen are huge superhero fans so, of course, each groomsman had superhero socks and matching tie clips. Lydia’s bouquet details were my favorite though! Sam and her grandfather served in the military so had the florist tie their dog tags into the bouquet.

Not only were we privileged enough to capture these incredibly beautiful photos, but we also had the opportunity to create a heartfelt wedding film, and get down with them on the dance floor! Kellis kept the guests engaged by playing Survivor while dinner was being set out and kept the energy up on the dance floor all night long.
