Steve is the senior DJ on our staff, having been with Complete for more than 25 years. He won Michigan’s DJ of the Year award the very first year it was awarded in 1998, repeating the accomplishment in 2016, 2018, and 2020. Steve was also awarded Michigan’s Employee of the Year award in 2017, in recognition of many years of leading and organizing Complete’s staff in service projects. He has also worked at the Franchise Owner level, having developed a Complete presence along the lakeshore, including Holland, where he lives. Steve has won numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, both as a DJ and an owner. More brides have requested him in Michigan than any other Complete DJ. He has attained the highest rank ever achieved by a Complete DJ in Michigan, Platinum IV, having performed at more than 1,000 weddings over his career. An actor/director by training and a writer by vocation, Steve is also a wedding officiant, freelance writer/editor, voiceover artist, pub trivia, and burlesque host. His creative, theatrical background makes him a natural entertainer.
