With all of the planning and craziness involved with planning the BIG DAY, many things can easily be forgotten on your wedding day in Kansas City. You’re trying to run every last detail through your head, making sure you didn’t forget something. Truth is, if you did end up forgetting something, your day will still be perfect. Things To Not Forget On Your Wedding Day in Kansas City<\/h2>\n

1. Eat Breakfast<\/h3>\n

Just like we’ve always heard, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The most important part about it, especially the day of, is to make sure there is food in your system. No one wants to pass out on their wedding day!<\/p>\n

2. Timeline<\/h3>\n

Have the timeline prepared in advance with several copies printed. Make sure to pass them out to all vendors and important people for the day of.<\/p>\n

3. Deliveries<\/h3>\n

Assign someone to handle all day-of deliveries. This includes flowers, cake, food, and anything else that’s arriving day-of.<\/p>\n

4. In Case of Crisis<\/h3>\n

Pick someone, likely a trustworthy friend, to make sure all things are in order. If anything crazy were to happen, this person should be able to handle the issue so that you and your new spouse won’t have to worry about anything besides enjoying your day. This person could also be the wedding coordinator, depending on how involved they are for the wedding day.<\/p>\n

5. Rings<\/h3>\n

Make sure the wedding rings are in safe care with the Best Man. This is his job to keep them safe and have them ready for the ceremony.<\/p>\n

6. Marriage License<\/h3>\n

Assign a trustworthy person, such as a friend or family member, to take care of the marriage license. The bride and groom shouldn’t have to worry about anything besides enjoying their day.<\/p>\n

7. Envelopes<\/h3>\n

Have prepared envelopes with remaining payments and\/or tips for vendors. This will take worry away from the big day.<\/p>\n

7. Gifts & Cards<\/h3>\n

Just like the marriage license, have a trustworthy person make sure all gifts and cards make it home safely.<\/p>\n

8. MOH Emergency Kit<\/h3>\n

Have the MOH hold an emergency kit for the bride. This kit may include hair & makeup accessories, miniature sewing kit, Tylenol, band-aids, tums, snacks, and anything else that could be helpful for the bride.<\/p>\n

9. Must-Have Photos<\/h3>\n

Make sure the photographer has the full list of photos that you’re wanting the day-of.<\/p>\n

10. Overnight Bag<\/h3>\n

Don’t forget to pack your overnight bag prior to the day of. This will ensure an easy transition from reception to the night of.<\/p>\n

11. Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue<\/h3>\n

This obviously isn’t necessary, but always fun and a fantastic way to keep the tradition alive. It becomes even more special when it comes to a loved one.<\/p>\n

12. Say Thank You<\/h3>\n

Don’t forget to thank you to the vendors and all who made this day possible.<\/p>\n

13. Take in Every Moment<\/h3>\n

During the reception, brides and grooms often get caught up trying to make sure they talk to every single person and end up losing focus on their new spouse. Make sure to stop whenever you get a chance to just enjoy the best day of your life.<\/p>\n

14. The Last Dance<\/h3>\n

This is the BEST way to end the night. This helps to give you and your new spouse a special moment to soak it all in. Have the DJ dismiss everyone besides the photographer, videographer, and DJ.<\/p>\n
