Brittany + Kevin had a beautiful ceremony hidden away at the Feasts of Fancy located in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. Under a canopy of trees and twinkling lights, they said their “I do’s”.
The Groomsmen wore deep navy, perfect for a September evening and also complimented the bridesmaids blush pink dresses. Heather Lane Events had us falling in love with all the little details that transformed this venue into a secret garden. The blushing pink tones were entwined with hints of gold throughout the reception from the centerpieces to the cake. The gorgeous flower arrangements helped transformed the room adding an elegant breath of fresh air to a rustic background. The Groom even lent a hand and created a beautiful wooden backdrop for the ceremony that was adorned with white and pink flowers. It then became the perfect background for photo booth pictures during the reception!
The couple also took pictures at one of Kansas City’s landmarks, the Nelson-Atkins Museum. This included the pillars of the building, fountain, and of course the iconic shuttlecock on the front lawn. Brittany’s simple yet elegant lace sweetheart dress shone brightly against the dark green surroundings. We are absolutely swooning over the couple sharing a special moment behind some flowers that add a pop of pink.
Afterward, the couple made a grand entrance to their reception. Starting the night of dancing off with James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go”. The twinkling lights with bluish-purple wall lighting set the perfect mood for the evening after a perfect wedding day.
