So what does it take to grow fast as a new franchise owner? For Angela Abshire in Columbus, the answer was simple: follow the plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Complete Weddings + Events, we don\u2019t ask you to reinvent the wheel. With our 50+ years in the wedding industry, we\u2019ve been able to build a playbook. Your job is to follow it with consistency and heart. Angela echoed that from day one. <\/span>\u201cThe magic is just following what Complete has laid out. Don\u2019t skip steps. Commit and be consistent,\u201d<\/em> she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Look Inside Angela\u2019s Early Days<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the first three months, Angela focused on the foundations. That meant completing her onboarding checklist and getting her online presence in shape. She built out her profiles\u2014Zola, Facebook, Instagram, Google\u2014and got reviews rolling in quickly. <\/span>Marketing was a priority. She blocked one day a month to knock out social posts and blog content in just four hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

Networking came next. Angela and her team visited three to four venues each week, often grouping them into one day. \u201cVenues were surprised we showed up,\u201d<\/em> she said. Many told her that most vendors don\u2019t take the time to introduce themselves. That effort made a big impact.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hiring followed soon after. It wasn\u2019t quick or easy, but Angela knew building the right team mattered.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Second Phase: Sales and Scaling<\/strong><\/h3>\n

By months three through six, it was all about sales. Angela dove into the Complete sales process and stuck with it.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFollow the playbook. The more you do it, the better you get,\u201d<\/em> she said. <\/span>She built trust with leads, responded quickly, and used sales scripts to stay consistent. When it came to lead generation, Google Ads topped the list\u2014but so did fully completed online profiles and five-star reviews.<\/span><\/p>\n

Angela credits organization and task planning as key. She focused on one system at a time. That helped her avoid burnout and stay efficient.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Time Investment That Paid Off<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Angela put in the hours. Months one through four, she worked 50 to 60 hours per week. <\/span>By months five and six, that dropped to 35 to 40 hours\u2014but the momentum didn\u2019t slow.<\/span><\/p>\n
