Fun Fact:<\/strong> Every year on my birthday, I challenge myself to do something physically\/mentally challenging. This year I swam 5700 meters or approx. 3.5 miles, (2 hours 10 mins) 100 meters for every year. This is right in line with a motto that resonates with me = “It’s a privilege to suffer”<\/div>\n

Advice to Inspiring Business Owners: <\/strong>Set realistic expectations, specifically when it comes to growth. And be conservative when it comes to how much profit you plan to pull out of business, especially in the first couple years. I often hear people say, \u201cI want to be my own boss.\u201d My response is always, why? Owning a business is not a shortcut to working less, making more money, or indulging yourself. If that\u2019s your reason for getting into business ownership, you\u2019re mistaken. Those who achieve success do so after years of building strong leadership and developing the right team to run the business effectively. If you’re considering starting a franchise or your own business, make sure your focus is on helping others\u2014because by doing so, you\u2019ll ultimately help yourself.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
