When Brenna + Kyle first met, they had no idea that the fateful moment would one day lead to them tying the knot. After getting to know each other and the idea of forever seemed like an instinct, saying yes to walking down the aisle came easily. This is their wedding day that took place at The Iowa Taproom.
Before The Ceremony
As their wedding day began, Brenna + Kyle’s wedding party split off into two separate rooms to get ready for the night ahead.
Wedding Party Attire
To start off on the right foot, each of the bridesmaids wore matching sets of cotton pajamas. Each was a shade of light blue, with the bride wearing her own in white. Brenna and her bridesmaids got their makeup and hair done. The finishing touches were their dresses. We’ll get into the bride’s look later, but the bridesmaids each wore a deep blue chiffon dress. Each dress with its own unique neckline.
In a separate room, the groomsmen also got into their attire. Each of them wore a classic black suit paired with a white button-down and black tie. They accessorized the suit with a neutral boutonniere.
With everyone ready, the bride and groom were ready to see each other for the first time. They both took a moment alone for their first look. Kyle waited for Brenna to enter the room with his back turned. She tapped on his shoulder, signaling him to turn. When he faced her, a beautiful bride stood before him.
Brenna wore an a-line shape dress. It had a white lace bodice with a Sweetheart/Queen Anne neckline. The skirt was made of soft layers of tulle that overlapped each other. She paired the look with gold necklaces and white heels. All coming together to make a stunning bride.
Once everyone was ready, it was time to head to The Iowa Taproom. Guests arrived in the industrial turned romantic space. String lights hung across the exposed ceilings, and drapery hung by pillars. With everyone seated, music began to play.
The wedding party walked out two by two, leading to the bride making her grand entrance. She captured every eye as she glided down the aisle, but her eyes were on the man at the end of the aisle. They met at the altar, exchanged vows, and sealed it all with a kiss! Brenna + Kyle were finally husband and wife.
The final part of the day’s festivities was, of course, celebrating! Guests stayed in the same space for the reception and cocktail hour. The bride and groom started this part of the evening with some sweet toasts and speeches. They ended the night by dancing the night away. A perfect ending to a wedding day full of the best moments.
