Originally from Alaska, I began photography in 2020 amidst a changing world. Focusing on women’s intimate photography, my desire was to promote healthy body images. When some of my work went viral on social media, it encouraged me to create projects to help women by merging photography with storytelling. With the tagline, “beauty is beyond standards,” my subjects have been a profoundly diverse group of people. Their stories touched on social issues: body positivity, sobriety, sexual identity, racism, mental health, and more. Since that time, I have diversified my portfolio to include portraits and special events. The most prolific addition has been newborn photography. I’ve taken more than 120,000 pictures of newborns under 48-hours old to present them to their parents, who were often teary-eyed with joy during sessions. There is something very special to me about preserving these moments that build our life stories. From the delight of your first look to the joy of the final send-off I’m excited to help my clients preserve and cherish their memories forever.
