What’s an awesome moment you always make sure to capture at a wedding?

I love to capture the bride and groom when they are together and just in the moment. Maybe it’s them sneaking off or simply having fun dancing together, this is where I see the expression of their relationship together at it’s best.

Do you have a favorite moment from your own wedding or one you’ve attended?

The bride and groom had the La Vibora de la Mar. The game is meant to playfully try to knock either the bride or groom down but not actually doing so. This group took it literal and did what they could to knock them down. The groom fell, in which his ring fell off too! Luckily it was found. 🙂

What’s one unexpected item you always keep in your camera bag?

Museum Wax, tissue, lint roller, bandaids, tide pen, mints, and thread with needle for sewing emergencies!

What’s one fun fact people are surprised to learn about you?

I’ve lived in Chicago all my life. Never had an address that wasn’t in the city.

What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend in Chicago when you’re not photographing weddings?

I love enjoying an activity with family/ friends. Bowling, Pool Hall, Movies, Concerts, local POP-UP or Festival, Walk in the park, Spa Day, or card game at home.

What do most couples say about you after working with you?

I’ve been told by couples that they absolutely love their photos. And it shows when I randomly see them sharing a photo I captured from their special day months or years from their event or session.
