Why did you decide to become a videographer?
I started out making Youtube videos just to share information and events with people but naturally became very interested in the cinematography and technical aspects of using a camera. I knew after I produced a few videos that I wanted to pursue videography professionally.

What is your favorite memory from an event you’ve filmed?
The last wedding I did the groom’s father danced with just about everyone there. You could tell he was ecstatic for his son to be married. He also really enjoyed showing off his moves, which were pretty impressive for a guy in his 60’s!

What is your favorite thing about being a videographer?
The joy it brings people to watch a video, whether they are able to relive an event or see something for the first time.. My favorite thing is the reaction from the audience.

What makes you or your work stand out?
I have experience in shooting many styles and subjects and I feel that helps me think outside the box a little more and get some unique shots.

What is your favorite part of an event?
Probably the space itself. The decorations and energy at a wedding. Setting is important to me and dictates how I shoot and tell the story. I want people watching the finished video to be completely immersed, as if they are there.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know I am an immigrant because I have no accent. We came here with very little when I was only 3 years old. I like to think I have a good work ethic because I am grateful to be here and have the opportunity to do what I love.
