Different Ways to Include your Pets in Your Wedding
There are many ways you can include your four-legged bestie in your big day! Having them there for your wedding day, of course, depends on whether your venue allows them, if they can travel, and how they do around large groups of people. If having your dog as your best man or maid of honor is your dream, keep that in mind when looking for venues and make sure that it is something they will permit. If you do plan to have them on site for the festivities, make sure you let your coordinator, videographer, and photographer all know as well. Your media team should be informed if you want specific moments captured with your pets, especially since working with animals can be a little unpredictable at times.
If they aren’t able to stand by your side, there are so many other ways to have them be a part of the celebrations. Oftentimes, couples will have signature drinks named for their pets served at the bar for their guests. Special signage including photos or drawings of your furry friend is a unique way to show them off to your guests, as well as add a little more character and make your drink service even more memorable. On top of that, getting napkins and disposable drinkware with their name and face on it really takes it over the top!
