Derrick Reid is a Winston-Salem native and professional DJ known for delivering polished, high-energy experiences for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. With a natural passion for music and a deep understanding of crowd energy, Derrick brings both skill and intention to every event he performs.

His journey began with a love for hip-hop, which later expanded into a versatile music style shaped by the MTV era—giving him a well-rounded appreciation for everything from R&B, pop, and dance classics to rock, country, and today’s top hits. This range allows Derrick to create a seamless soundtrack that connects with every guest, no matter the audience. After studying at Forsyth Technical Community College, Derrick further developed his craft at 102 Jamz in Greensboro, where he mastered the art of reading a crowd and maintaining the perfect flow throughout an event. Today, Derrick specializes in creating unforgettable moments through music. Known for his professionalism, smooth transitions, and ability to keep the dance floor packed, he works closely with every couple and client to deliver a customized experience that reflects their vision and energy.
