My name is Adam Nelson-Ockenfels, I was born in Iowa City, I studied photography at the University of Iowa, and I have been photographing everything under the sun for several years now. Before seriously pivoting to the world of photography, it was a hobby while I was a full time teacher. However, that pastime quickly became a passion of mine the more that I dabbled and people expressed interest in my work. What ultimately grew my love of photography was the idea that you could take a moment, capture it, and preserve it for a lifetime for others to see. Whether its animals, landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, weddings, etc.; as a photographer you are preserving moments, and that is incredibly meaningful to me. Of all of the subjects or events I have captured, weddings hold a special place in my heart. The moments, emotions, and love within wedding photographs are truly unmatched by anything else!
